Ghaib Serpent on Sukuh Bridge

."¥¥¥".

Sukuh Bridge is a bridge that residents of the river are familiar with. But that's a story when I was a kid. I was about 7 years old at the time. I also don't know if it's just a rumor or not. But because I was still innocent so I believed those words.

When I was playing with friends in the yard of a grandfather's house. We love playing traditional games called tops. But we call it kekean.

"Hey you're cheating it's not your turn," Hamid said, snapping at Rudi for cheating.
"What are you talking about it's my turn," Rudi replied in a rather high tone.
"Heh don't fight," they fell silent.
"How about playing another one," I said again.

Finally we agreed and started playing marbles. Indeed, Hamid and Rudi don't get along very well, but they will make up again, well, friends are always in conflict.

We played until the afternoon, well because it's sunday tomorrow so it doesn't matter. We usually go to the river after playing.
The river is under the sukuh bridge. Rumor has it that there is a Ghaib snake, the characteristics are big, long, white and there are black patterns. But in fact, there are people who still like to take a bath there. It is true that the river is clear, so many people like to bathe in the river. "It's refreshing," people said.

"Hey Hamid, let's wait for what else," exclaimed Rudi, who had already melted first.
"Bear with you," Rudi said.

I don't want to be outdone I've been buried ahead of Hamid. The river is indeed as refreshing as people say. Usually, those who bathe here are mostly people who run out of rice fields. wuhhh it's really good to sweat because of going to the rice fields, unwinding to the river.

"Hey, for tomorrow's activities, it's Sunday, so what if we just fish," Hamid invited.
"Good idea, but what time is the fishing," Rudi asked.
"Emmm, how about one o'clock in the afternoon," Hamid replied.

At that time I was reminded of what people said. That is, if you go to the river from twelve o'clock in the afternoon to two o'clock in the afternoon. They say it's usually snakes coming out.
"Hamid when he went to the river at one o'clock in the afternoon there was a snake," I said.
"You're just a rumor," Hamid said.
Hah Hamid is indeed a little stubborn so I'll just follow him. It felt like we had soaked enough in the river we went back to our respective homes.

When I got home I changed clothes and prayed ashar. After praying I recited for a while. It didn't feel like it was azan magrib, my father and I went to the mosque for congregational prayers.

I usually study but because it's tomorrow week, it's my habit if I don't study on Sunday nights. At that time I watched TV well at that time my brother came home from work. Usually I ask to be loaned hp well because tomorrow week so I am on loan. My brother looked tired so he rested. I play cellphones and play car games with my astonishment. It didn't feel like it was eight o'clock in the evening and I had to go to bed before I was scolded by mom.

The next morning I helped my parents like sweeping, washing dishes and so on. I had a morning bike ride with two good friends Rudi and Hamid. We cycled not far, just around one kampong.
Sometimes we stop by the stall to buy soy juice. My favorite soy juice is brown sugar soy juice.

"ouh so fresh," I said.
"Well you're right," Hamid said.

We continued cycling this time we went back to our respective homes. I was hungry because I forgot to eat before going out just now. I took the plate, opened the serving hood, took the side dishes and also the rice. I ate the food with gusto because I was so hungry. After being full watching TV my favorite show on Sunday night. At nine o'clock friends picked up friends were about to play.

"What do you want to play Rud," I said.
"Just play jedokan," Rudi said.
"Yes, I've been looking for bamboo in the garden, let's do a lot," I said.

We went to the garden looking for good bamboo. Jedokan is an ancient game made of small bamboo poked by other small bamboos. We asked pakdhe to make it after we got the bamboo. We also helped pakdhe make it for us. We played together.

"Hey, don't hit your head," Rudi shouted.
"Even though the bullets are just wet paper," Hamid said.
"Huh they're starting again," I said.

At noon at one o'clock in the afternoon as per our agreement, we went to the river together. We bring fishing rods and bait. We fished not so long as I guessed it wasn't so long before a white snake appeared as people said.

"Mid, Hamid is the snake of Mid," I said.
"I-yes, it's huge," Hamid said
The three of us suddenly ran away as we ran to each other's homes.

Suddenly in the afternoon their bodies were hot their faces pale as if they were still lamenting the figure of the big snake just now. When they were asked they said they saw a large snake ready to devour them while they were fishing.

Their parents were surprised as well as my parents. He said the figure of the snake was actually a stealth. On a certain night she turned into a beautiful figure in white clothes and a white shawl. My grandfather who heard that was also immediately surprised and said.
"We must bring offerings for the snake,"

They rushed to the river bridge with their existing sesajan. How surprised there was a figure of a woman in a white shirt disappearing in an instant.
